On the eve of the show, Kate left her flat in Chelsea at 9pm and arrived at Clarence House around midnight. Her Audi car, which she had left at a Mayfair hotel car park, was collected by an aide and driven into Clarence House, waved through by police on guard at 1.45am. Kate did not return to her London home until 4am.
