Kate appears to be positively embracing the single life without her prince. The 25-year-old looked sleek in a black dress as she joined her friends for dinner at a Thai restaurant in Chelsea before hitting the dancefloor of royal haunt Boujis nightclub in South Kensington.
Kate leaves London club Mahiki at 2:30am in the early hours, with a smile that says: There's life after William. She may have been given indefinite compassionate leave from her job as a buyer with Jigsaw after the break-up, but she certainly did not look like she was moping over what might have been.
Despite being at the centre of a deeply painful split from William, Kate seemed keen to put on a particularly brave face as she stepped out in public for the first time. Dressed in tight jeans, knee-high boots and white wrap-top, the 25-year-old drove to see her bosses at the head offices of fashion store Jigsaw in nearby Kew. And after being placed on indefinite compassionate leave from her job, she stayed just a matter of minutes before heading back to Berkshire.
William and his long-term love Kate have split following the strain caused by the second in line to the throne's life in the Army. The couple, who were widely tipped to marry, came to the shock decision earlier this week, but separated amicably with no one else involved. A close friend said that as far as Kate was concerned, William simply hasn't been paying her enough attention and she felt hugely frustrated that their relationship just seems to be going backwards at a rate of knots.
