Kate may no longer be a royal-in-waiting, but she's quickly developing a reputation as a princess - of partying. The 25-year-old has been a regular at her favourite London night spots since splitting from William, but that's not her only new habit - she appears to have taken up smoking. During a yet another night out at London's Boujis with her sister Pippa, Kate was caught with a packet of cigarettes peeping out of her handbag. Always making sure her behaviour was fit for a Queen during her courtship with William, Kate has clearly dropped her guard - and squeaky clean image. Kate looked stylish in a monochrome print dress cinched in by a thick belt and a black cardigan.
Kate was a surprise guest at the launch of Simon Sebag Montefiore's 'Young Stalin' at Asprey, with her sister Pippa. Many hoped her presence might signify a graduation from nightclubs to book launch parties.
William's girlfriend was radiant in an £800 knee-length silver dress, thought to be made by New York designer BCBG Max Aria. She and the prince were celebrating at a friend's party at the London nightclub, Mahiki. William left first, shortly after 1am yesterday and Kate emerged less than half an hour later.
Both William and Kate were happy to be pictured together at the prestigious Chakravarty Cup held at Ham Polo Club in Surrey. Wearing a body-hugging red polka-dot sun dress with matching Lulu Guinness wedge heels, the willowy brunette looked stunning as she laughed and joked with aides, demonstrating just how comfortable she is with the royals inner circle.
24-year-old Kate turned up with her sister to watch William when he returned to Eton College for an old boys' Field Game. After years of determinedly keeping their distance in public, the couple now don't care who knows that they are very much an item.
